I remember years ago when I did some gig work, that I was doing an order for someone through one of these apps. We drop off & meet them to hand everything over, & a cute girl was at the door & she had a dog that was barking at first to alert her to someone there.

I make small talk & start unpacking everything, & just asked her out like "hey I'm sorry if this comes off weird, but you're really cute & I'm just asking if maybe sometime you'd possibly like to go out?"
She politely turned me down, we wrapped up the business & that was that. Never saw her again.

It's really easy to not be creepy or too weird in most instances even if it's unprofessional, unprompted messages over text & just sitting outside someone's residence is not the way to do it in any way shape or form
