| Malcrasternus 04/02/24 2:29:10 PM #35: | I'd say Rolex/Casio for people not into watches, and Seiko/Casio for people into watches. Seiko is IMO a good place to start for mechanical pieces, to feel out what you like/how deep you want to dive into the world for not too much cash. The majority of my mechanical pieces are Seiko, or have Seiko movements inside, and are acting as the springboard towards regulating, servicing, and potentially building and modding my own.
