I didnt know he died like that, nor did I believe it was possible to blame Hendrix because many celebrities are exploited. It almost comes out, like the Flahertys character realizes his own ignorance, but cant help himself, like a typical parent who works too much, and their own neglect may cause offspring to act out. You gotta remember, this show took place around the same time all those stars died. There's even an episode where a few characters mourn John Bonham dying earlier that day.
