Both of those are classic Metroid too. Especially the latter. Vertical platforming while dodging enemies that it doesn't really pay to try to kill is Metroid's bread and butter. I feel like there's not much in the way of moving platform stuff in Metroid but I could be wrong. The hallways just feel different to me, maybe it's because Castlevania enemies feel like genuine threats more than Metroid where you can often avoid them. Maybe this is the RPG mechanics talking.
