I mean it is still kinda scummy that Capcom sees a way to take advantage to make a quick buck on something that you can get easily in game, apparently some things so easily that why even have it as a micro transaction? Just to suck a little extra money out from a single player game, and yea it's not only DD2 that's done it. But I think it helps highlight that it's a shady practice regardless. It's shady, but it isn't predatory, and I think that's a fairly big distinction to make with how dire monetization can get.
