Sadly I probably was.

When the pandemic hit I thought it would be a good chance for people to put aside their differences and unite as we were all in this together. I even believed Slug Virus would try and do everything in his power to crush covid to make himself look great in hopes.of winning reelection. Granted I also underestimated how long it would take society to reopen completely. But ignoring the false silver lining I saw coming from the pandemic, I had more disposable income (not even including the stimulus)and more hope about my life because I was younger. These days I don't have that and in some ways society reopening increased my depression as I had no way to do the activities that I wanted to. The only real positive I've gained since then has been the birth of my nephew but I only see him about 6 times a year and only for a long duration in August.

But none of those reasons have anything to do with who's in charge and if Slug Virus wins in November I got to start making exit strategies in case he tries to get death camps going.
