It's hard to keep track of all this, but the NY civil judgement is a state judgement right? Wouldn't the Supreme Court play no role here? highest would be NY state appeal? You need a federal constitutional basis to appeal to the supreme Court. Being a state thing doesn't exempt you from the federal supremacy clause. In this case he's trying to argue his 5th amendment Rights are being violated.
