I'm wondering if Lemon knew this would cost him his job and did this on purpose? Musk likely hired Lemon so that Twitter would appear non-bias and could claim it's covering both sides. But he also wanted a softball interview by a liberal on his payroll as a PR stunt to prove how great he is.

So did Lemon know this would cost him his job or did he truly believe Musk would allow him to ask hard questions and still have a job? Lemon isn't exactly the brightest man in media so I don't know.
