Yup, there was a lot of bad shit in our time, but 1976 to 9/11 2001, was a hell of an arc. Yeah 2001 definitely feels like the turning point. But for me personally a lot of it isn't because of 9/11 itself. It's more age related, cultural shifts in the handling of entertainment whether it be music, movies, or gaming and just the way things have shifted and changed with the Internet and technology. Things that would have happened anyway and have nothing to do with 9/11. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some of the modern conveniences but I have definitely turned into an old grump that dislikes a lot of what it brings. I look back at the past very fondly though and I legitimately enjoyed life more then than I do now.
