60 years of never being told no has an effect. I'm pretty sure my parents schooling (and most people from their generation in Australia) was literally traumatic compared to now Like my dad was caned by teachers and stuff. Yes houses were cheaper but it's a bit inaccurate to pretend they have coasted through life. And as we all know an unstable childhood can fuck you up --- Started from the bottom now we here ...
