my job is one of the very rare salary jobs that actually pays extra if you work more than 40 hours in a week, so I usually make ~$4800/mo after taxes.

other than that, electricity is less than 100/mo and the only other utility I pay for is heating oil which was only about $500 for the whole winter this year(thanks, global warming).

other than that I pay less than 1k/mo in bills including student loans, and my car will be fully paid off in a few months.

if I ever have to move I'll be screwed because I don't have the cash for that, but I like my apartment and landlords so I won't be moving unless I have to
