Huge turn coming in. Republicans can no longer use a far right judge to eradicate policy or create policy.

They've constantly been going to Amarillo and filing lawsuits since there's only one federal judge for the district, he gets to change US Law. He's the same piece of shit who ultimately banned abortion pills nation wide. It's a bullshit system time and time again abused by Republicans like Ken Paxton when suing Biden or the US Government.

Stripping that away doesn't completely stop Republican horse shit, but it's definitely a step in the right direction.

Among other things, he attempted to ban the abortion drug mifepristone (a decision blocked by the Supreme Court) and ruled that a father had a constitutional right to limit his daughters access to birth control. He attempted to neutralize a federal law prohibiting health providers from discriminating against LGBTQ patients, and hes currently presiding over a trial brought by anti-abortion activists seeking up to $1.8 billion from Planned Parenthood based on frivolous claims that the organization defrauded Medicaid.
