People back in the day were very harsh about their criticisms of the prequel trilogy, but now that a bunch of kids who grew up with the prequels as "their Star Wars" are out there as adults, the feelings have shifted. New material like Clone Wars, Rebels, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, etc. has also gone a long way to fill in and smooth over some of the rough parts of the prequels. Nowadays they're as beloved as the original films in many circles of the fandom. --- (He/Him) I write Naruto Fanfiction.
