Reading up on Takahashi's death (Yu-Gi-Oh), it seems he drowned trying to save 2 other people who were drowning. Ultimately, I don't think he had any impact as they were rescued by a Captain, however at least he went out heroically and I definitely give him kudos for making the ultimate sacrifice in the name of saving others. No wonder he always talked about the heart of the cards, dude was all heart.

Can I sideline for a sec and say to people PLEASE don't what he did >_> I've been involved in a few rescue efforts and they are made up of highly coordinated efforts by a team of trained individuals with proper equipment, and having some rando jump in and try to "help" only complicates the situation and makes it more dangerous for the rescuers, themselves, and the victims. The best course of action you can do is just get the proper help if they haven't been alerted and let them do their thing.

I get he was trying to help, but don't do that >_> Especially with drowning victims who are known to just pull others into the depths with them in their panicked state. Drowning victims are very deadly unless you have the proper tools and techniques
