Indeed.

While it might be nice to get a perspective from one of the handful of people still listening to an A.M. frequency radio station in 2024 purely for that emotional angle, its neither relevant to the news story nor would it have likely been worth the effort, as the reporters likely didnt even interview the radio station owner in person, much less travel down to that town to take a gander at the spot where the tower used to stand for themselves.

Most likely they did an interview over the phone or through Zoom, as thats a lot more efficient than actually paying people to drive down there and back, using fuel in the process.
