Amazon keeps fucking up the address and then usps gets it to me, it's happened a handful of times where the original handoff to usps was already wrong Amazon would only be using the address on file, they don't really do anything but hand it off to the shipping partner with that info. Said shipping partner then scans it into their system and prints a tag, so chances are USPS's system is somehow screwing it up when they input the info.
