I have suffered from the kindling effect of alcohol and now when I relapse and have a binge, I always have withdrawal, and each time it gets worse. I'm to the point now where auditory and closed eye hallucinations are now a thing :\

Never quite got there thankfully but have seen it. Alcohol withdrawal is abysmal.

Had a friend I had to rush over vodka at 8am on time as he was shaking so bad and was afraid of a seizure. Took a gulp, puked it up then sipped until it got better. Told him Im calling an ambulance next time.

Got him to detox in hospital and was good for a while. Then his girl left so he went on a huge bender, seizures during withdrawal and lost all his money to it.

Next time I saw him he was yellow and was just waiting on the liver failure to kill him, which it did shortly after.
