His parts work for the shitty music they make but everything he writes is boring to play and not overly technical so I don't get why he is so praised. Hell I'd even say Niel is overrated. Most overrated rhythm section in rock history. If you want technical proficiency, go play some Dragonforce or some kind of speed metal. It's technically unlistenable, but it's technically proficient.
