It got worse when I moved to America and white folks are determined to put you in a box so they can discriminate against you. I've been called Arab and Middle Eastern when 9/11 happened. The amount of discrimination I experienced during that time. Also, when it was politically okay to blame illegal Mexicans for EVERYTHING wrong in America, I was called an illegal and told multiple times to go back to Mexico.
