Business in Australia don't care, and neither do the unis. You need a specific mark to get into any classes and those spots are reserved for a minority of people (genuinely, the preference is for non-HECS/FEE-HELP students). If you pay outright in full, it doesn't matter what your mark was.

Any business will take one look at his Cert 3 on the resume and immediately send the resume to the bin. Unless you have a cert 4 ($15k+ minimum), if you haven't been to university, you're never making a cent more than $70k unless you go into trades, in which you need a 3 year apprenticeship paid at the lowest rate possible.

Many things about Australia are a trap.
