You are correct that the US has some leverage over the billions of dollars we keep sending them.

For the record, I don't support the US giving Israel so much weapons and money. What I'm only stating is that the US stopping isn't the magical cure for Palestine some seem to think it is.

What people have twisted is the idea that if we stop giving Israel weapons and money, that it somehow forces Israel to ceasefire. Or the even worse delusion, the PotUS has some kinda of authority over Israel, or some surefire pressure that would make them ceasefire beyond war.

Israel has options. Especially given the major fact that the US is extremely unstable right now.
