in the last couple fast food topics, i've seen a (relatively small) number of people get upset that they have to use the app to get the exclusive deals

but like why would you not want to use it?
you like shouting your order over a loud speaker to someone who has a good chance of mishearing, misunderstanding, or entering your order wrong?
you like not knowing a clear price of upcharges, add-ons and substitutions? how long til your order is ready? having to pay at the window? or fuck, asking everyone else in the car what they want and trying to relay it?

apps are sweet and so are the deals
love being able to take off what i want, add what i want, know what each addition costs (if at all)
always get extra pickle, extra sauce (whatever it may be), no tomato on my burgers
and hell at taco bell you can even recreate long gone menu items
i take the beefy 5 layer, get double beef, swap the beans for potatoes and the shredded cheese for nacho cheese to make the 1/2lb cheesy potato burrito they used to have

just dont get the pushback tbh
