History lesson: Just as US has supported Israel for decades, Russia has provided money and weapons to all of its enemies, b/c the Middle East is a Cold War proxy war in the end. Israel gradually tried to establish relations w/ Russia to tamp down that threat (no different than Germany or most of Europe did for cheap gas, before the board's antisemites use that as an excuse to go on a tirade). And yes, it also helped that they had/have conservative leaders who find Putin's policies appealing (no different than in the US).
That included avoiding being too hostile to Russia after the Ukraine invasion and avoiding selling/donating them weapons.

But Putler has severely miscalculated and thrown his lot firmly in w/ the terrorists, and now it's going to bite him in the ass. Israel seems poised to give Ukraine the Iron Dome, and with western funding to ramp up production, they will be a game changer in shooting down the Shaheed terror drones made by terrorist state Iran.

We just need Dems to win decisively this fall so Putin's Favorite Helpers can't obstruct anymore, and we can turn the tide. Together.
