It is like how George Lucas made changes in old Star Wars movies to match the stuff in new movies (i.e. changing Boba Fett's voice). Its not a perfect match to the Star Wars situation because its a translation, but language is never 100% directly translatable and translation can be a form of art as well. The ending line fits fine in the self contained context of FF7 Remake. If its so important to Rebirth, just have a flashback in Rebirth that has the "proper" line.
