If anything the fact that women can have careers means they want something other than wealth from a guy. Golddiggers still exist but they have always existed. "Higher standards" could just mean something as simple as a fun personality. Now that women can be financially independent they aren't going to put up with shitty personalities as much as they might have before. Thinking that "standards" only refers to wealth or physical traits is the kind of reductive thinking that incels fall into exactly. The immediate jump into thinking that that was what I meant is exactly the issue. This user has on numerous occasions made it clear that they think the only way to get a women is to have money hence why I sarcasticallly asked them if they thought jay men just buy women --- stop victory lapping around your desk, your chair has rollers, it's not even really exercise ...
