The recent court decision did not in any way ban IVF treatments. You will not find me disagreeing that Republicans are short sighted and wrong when it comes to the laws they are trying to pass regarding life beginning at conception but I have not seen any of them opposing or trying to outlaw IVF treatments.
IVF has a very high failure rate. Classifying these frozen embryos as children means that anytime this child isnt born, for whatever reason throughout the process, legally you killed a child.

Do you not see how its essentially a ban? IVF isnt a simple process as it is, and now ANYTHING going wrong means that under the law of Alabama youre a child murderer. Nobody is going to risk that so yes, its basically banned.
