A bill to cement "life begins at conception" into law is not opposition to IVF.It is when the courts have determined that it means that. Stop. Stop fucking carrying water for religious fanatics. Stop treating them like good faith actors. Just fucking stop. When you do it you are enabling them. Grow up. Start treating the GOP as what it is. The enemy of a free, just, and equitable society. Do not give them the benefit of the doubt on anything. Assume that everything they do is only for the benefit of themselves. They are fascists. Stop acting like they are anything else. Now as it relates to the OP, anyone who interviews or questions them on the subject needs to just tell them "I don't believe you and I think you are fucking liar" when they voice support for IVF. If they wanted they could easily pass laws to protect IVF access. They don't want to protect it.
