| Zero_Destroyer 02/17/24 1:41:43 PM #2: | I think it'd be valid if it wasn't for the implicit suggestion that inmates should be beaten/sexually assaulted (or) that they deserve it. It also implies innocent people don't get fed into this. The simple fact is that it is easy to not critically think about the world and assume authority figures are correct when it suits you, so a lot of people assume institutions can't be wrong or that it isn't "their" problem if things go wrong.
Stuff like this is why I think civil service should be mandatory after high school. I despise the idea of a military draft but community work should be a civic duty. --- Enjoy movies and television?
