Unpopular opinion:

If AI can take over your job, then so be it. We shouldn't be working jobs where machinery, AI and computers can do it for us. If you are working based on passion, thats another thing. But if our society benefits off AI's work, like coding, generating graphics and doing most of the legwork, thats good. Just like how machinery took the majority of the labour jobs, now the white collar jobs are going to be replaced.

This is coming from someone who specializes in law, data and programming. A lot of the shit I do is going to be replaced soon, if not already. So what do I do next? Work on something else that AI cannot do. Provide something to society that cannot be provided by standard machinery and AI.

We shouldn't stunt our technological growth because people want to work jobs. Harsh to say, but if all our jobs are going to be taken, we should really be looking forward towards a universal income for everyone. Kind of reminds me of the expanse.
