Everytime I hear of a mass shooting happens, I feel really bad about the victims. But it's like, I feel extra hurt/emotional because this is my town this happened in. Is that okay to feel that way?

The Kansas City Fire Department says eight victims had 'immediate life-threatening injuries,' seven had life-threatening injuries, and six had non-life threatening.
Victims were transported to three different hospitals: Children's Mercy Hospital, Truman Medical Center, and St. Luke's Hospital.
Children's Mercy Hospital says that they are treating 11 children at the hospital, including nine gunshot victims.

Thankfully Children's Mercy and University Health (aka Truman Medical Center) is just a few blocks away from Union Station. That way they can quickly get the victims to the hospital.
