ITT: CE is vastly minimizing the effect the pandemic had on gaming hardware, and game development.

Did you guys know there are multiple 100m+ dollar games being killed in the crib that the suits were pushing because they were popular during the pandemic? Hyenas, Titanfall Legends, just to name two. Those aren't small potatoes to these companies.

PC Hardware took a powder from both crypto and chip shortages. Ps5 took it worse. You couldn't find a Switch anywhere for a year. Etc. An effective 3 years minimum on the Nvidia 3xxx series, AMD 6xxx series, Ps5 and Xbox X|S have been erased. All this hardware will be obsolete and slow soon, and it makes sense the big players are cutting their losses and looking to the future for new consoles.
