In America, if you fail the final tests to become a doctor three times, you just don't get another chance. That's a bad example because having a high IQ is not enough to become a doctor. You can have a high IQ and still be crushed by people who have better studying techniques, are more devoted, are more resilient than you. The last one is especially important because resilience and imagination (a word that encompasses creativity, adaptability, malleability) are the key factors that distinguishes an average candidate vs an extraordinary one. ...
