Considering there are no ramifications, would you reset the internet for a chance in social change? Maybe it will grow differently this time. Social media won't be such a cesspool and forums would be popular again? People would find that everything is erased and maybe decide to focus more on real life activities. Or maybe people will start to keep to more tightly knit groups like group chats instead of widely posting their lives.
