Actually, by the time he headlined the halftime show in 2007, he hadn't even put out a decent album in literally 20 years. Everything he released after Sign of the Times is lackluster save for a few songs. No one gave a fuck about Prince in 2007. None of y'all remember any of the bullshit he was releasing in the 2000s.
