Once it was revealed that it was going to be service-like game, it was basically dead in the water. The people that bought it at launch are going to be the bulk of the people who buy it period. The gamers who are really into comic book shit (i.e., Millenials and younger Xers) don't generally care for that kind of game design and I don't think it's interesting enough to Zoomers to distract them from the other service-like games they're already invested in. It seems like yet another exercise in WB not being able to read the fucking room. Yeah I was super hyped by the reveal and then the reveal that Kevin Conroy voiced Batman before he passed. Then the first game play trailer came out and I was out. Taking all these characters and then deciding its going to be a third person shooter is a real head scratcher for me.
