People aren't calling for Biden to "do nothing" regarding what's happened to Palestinians right now. The United States provides an overwhelming amount of money to Israel through defense funding as well as other forms of aid. If the United States told Israel to stop and threatened to close the coffers, Israel would stop. I don't really think they actually would. Israel is a rich country that does not need our funding. They'd probably start running even lower on shells and missiles, but US isn't the only country that sells weapons. And they have ground forces also. Don't get me wrong. I think we should stop funding Israel, i just don't think it would actually do much.
