Speaking as a lifelong illustrator / pervert who draws plenty of sexy ladies in my spare time, this. No matter how good I get or how hard I try to capture / enhance the essence of the photos I'm referencing, it never compares to the beauty of a real life woman.

Maybe it's because I strive for realistic attributes / proportions - idealized, sure, but I despise ginormous tits and other Jessica Rabbit-esque stuff you see so much of nowadays. I also love to see flaws in an otherwise-flawless woman - her nose is a little too big, her chin is a little too small, etc. That kind of stuff doesn't translate very well to my artwork and looks very out-of-place, especially when I'm trying to compete with the anime crowd by doing a hybrid style of flawless faces that actually have humanoid features like noses and cheekbones. So again, it's one of those aspects made all the more alluring by my failure to accurately capture it.
