In an ideal world, it'd teach you financial discipline and hygiene to ensure you have a solid grasp on every dollar you are spending and teach you how to properly set aside money, not just for the sake of savings but for investing as well. In the modern world we actually live in, I don't think any course or amount of knowledge will really help. If you're not fortunate enough to live in a area where cost of living is cheap or you can make actual decent money, then no amount of knowledge is going to save you from a rigged hand you've been dealt. --- The name is wackyteen for a reason.
