And a PS2 is a dvd player that can also run Linux. Your point is invalidNo it isnt. Xbox and PS can play DVDs and Blu-Rays to this day. They can also do Netflix and shit, but thats not what theyre for. The purpose of a console is to play games. The purpose of a PC is to do whatever the hell you want to do better than a console could ever do any of it. But the tradeoff there is that you lose that dedicated simplicity for flexibility. The Steam Deck is purposefully designed and built to be a gaming device right down to the OS, where you can do all the tinkering and tweaking etc. with a controller right in the main UI.
