I just replayed the ME trilogy a couple years ago. It did not age well. I cant see myself ever playing those games again they came out in this liminal period where aaa video game writing was starting to get good but was not quite there yet, while rpg elements were beginning to get unpopular and BioWare was grappling with how to mass market stuff to people. The result is a very middling squandering of potential --- I pray god will curse the writer, as the writer has cursed the world with this beautiful, stupendous creation, terrible in its simplicity, irresistible in truth ...
