He started as a debugger, then became a character designer, then out of nowhere became the director for KH. It feels a bit like "well he's been here for years so we should probably promote him" and the end result was KH being this massive shitshow because it turns out knowing how to draw belts doesn't mean you know how to manage a large development team.
