A nerd is someone who generally likes "nerd things" (video games, science fiction, roleplaying, anime), is generally uninterested in "non-nerd things" (playing sports, watching sports, parties, drinking), and is socially awkward. That's pretty nebulous but offhand I can't think of a way to define the line between "nerd things" and "non-nerd things."
A geek is a nerd who is skilled at math, science, and/or computers.
uh isn't it the other way round?
