More demonic baby s***? Ugh. I didn't like it the first time with Dany, and it's even stupider now. I'm not seeing any redeeming qualities in Melisandre so far. That reminds me; it really bothered me in the second(?) episode when Melisandre convinced Stannis to have sex with her. Here we have a guy that's supposed to be pretty much the most honorable man in the seven kingdoms, and THE SECOND Melisandre mentions the possibility of a son he's just like, "okay, guess I don't have a choice then!" Not believable at all.

Tyrion was amazing as usual; between putting Joffrey and Ser Meryn in their place and completely shutting down Lancel (3rd episode in a row he's done that to someone!), he's pretty much solidified his position as my favorite living character (well okay he was probably there anyway beforehand). Speaking of Lannisters, I'm really looking forward to seeing more of Tywin now that he's shown up!

Dany's storyline is showing promise now; I'm much more interested in learning about these Thirteen than seeing nomads travel the wilderness. Dany herself still isn't really interesting me though.

Stannis isn't supposed to be all about honor. That's Ned Stark. Stannis is all about justice and order. Not having a son hurts his claim, and means that if he does win, when he dies there will be a potentially disasterous succession crisis. (That said, I agree that the scene was not particularly well done and felt too fast)
