Yeah as someone who loved Tintin as a kid, I really enjoyed the movie. I can understand why it didn't do well, though, it just didn't seem at all well-advertised. Like I said, I used to be a Tintin nut, and I didn't even know the movie existed until it was in theaters.

They never expected it to do well in the US, which I think was a mistake. Statistically, comic movies overseas than their home country, so we didn't expect Tintin to do well here(but it wouldn't have hurt to try - the movie already almost tripled its budget in earnings).
