This too. You have to remember it's not a huge title even as far as JRPGs go and Nintendo's not hopeful for it in NA. By the time most people have bought it and/or the copies are out its NA sales will probably be around half of what Tales of and Persona get at best.
Ha, what. The only Tales of game to sell 1 million was Symphonia, the rest don't come close. This will probably outsell them worldwide. Same for Persona, too, though 4 sold pretty well...
I'm expecting about 7-800,000 for Xenoblade worldwide. Pretty respectable, and better than the examples you mentioned.
And yes, I can see this selling really well in America. Pre-orders have apparently been really good, and there's no way Nintendo wouldn't print more if demand existed. That's exactly what happened in Europe. It was originally supposed to have a limited run, then came out and somehow topped the charts...
