Question; one thing I remembered about Dragon Quest 8 was that you could frequently go way off into the wilderness like that.. but it tended to be empty and lifeless. Is there a REASON to go traipsing off into nowhere?
Definitely. Remote locations always have some reward tucked away in them, whether it be a strong monster, a key item for a sidequest, a character to talk to or what have you.
