law enforcement/military however wouldn't be one of them that i can see thrown out easily though. that's a field i can understand this sort of check for. a lot of government positions you give up a lot for, especially those where you have a firearm, so them digging into your personal life is already part of the norm.
Well, the military doesn't do it for people actually IN the military.... yet. However they HAVE posted extensive guidelines on what you are "allowed" to post on social networking sites.... which go ignored by about 99% of the population.
