20) I Won't Say I'm in Love
From: Hercules
Nominated by: PrinceKaro

Definitely in my top 3 romantic numbers and in my top 30 overall songs, here it lands 20th, and let me just say that any Hercules song featuring the Muses automatically > any song not featuring them. I love the Muses so much.

19) He Mele No Lilo
From: Lilo and Stitch
Nominated by: Natwaf_akidna

Fo the longest time I had no idea what this song was about, but look here! A translation just for you and me:

Anyway, it's a beautiful song in which children sing and sound more like angels than screeching imps with no concept of pitch. And I love the accompanying hula dance because rhythmically swaying hips are just sexy regardless of your gender or sexual orientation, darn it.

18) Everybody Wants to Be a Cat
From: Aristocats
Nominated by: jdizzy

These swingin' cats all just ooze #swag from their ever fur. Well... almost all of them. There's one thing killing the vibe here. You guessed it: children- er- kittens singing badly and off-pitch. Bleh. As cute as Marie is, she absolutely butchers her part of the song. Good thing it's a brief part. I could also do without the harpsichord solo changing the mood of the song. So with these glaring flaws, why in the world is this so high? Three reasons: 1) Nostalgia- self-explanatory 2) The Paragon - it's the only song in the entire movie worth half a damn (O'Malley the Alley Cat? It's okay, but it just ain't scat. Scales and Arpeggios? Don't make me laugh, daddio) so I might tend to go easy on it due to lack of in-movie competition. and 3) This song is just so damn cool it masks the squares with circles and triangles! Anyhoo, I already mentioned that I love jazz, so if none of the above explanations gel with you then substitute it with "jazz bias" and move on.

17) Zero to Hero
From: Hercules
Nominated by: SuorGenoveffa

My favorite song from Hercules. YES INDEED!

16) Bare Necessities
From: The Jungle Book
Nominated by: vcharon

This song is just such a classic you can't help but love it even if it has a pretty bad message: wait around and be lazy and you might not get everything you want but you'll surely get what you need. Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong, but I'm more inclined to believe Baloo is just not that great a role model. Still though, he's Papa Bear <3. You can't not love such a fun song sang by such a fun character, you just can't!!
