56) Out There
From: The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Nominated by: 20three

Oh, this song is filled with so much longing and emotion.. Tom Hulce's excessive vibratto can get a little overwhelming at times, but I forgive him for it because this song is so sweet. Quasi manages to look completely adorable and pretty darn ugly in the exact same instance which is quite a feat in and of itself.

55) Portobello Road
From: Bedknobs & Broomsticks
Nominated by: Mega Mana

I've never actually seen Bedknobs & Broomsticks, but I've heard about it before. This is a nice, spicy number with hints of flavors from many a different kitchen, all blended together in a delicious pallette of cuisine. I love the ethnic dancers in the middle of the song. Only one thing brings it down a notch. You guessed it: dem kids again.

Here's the thing about kids singing:

Well children are tone deaf for the most part. Sure, every once in a blue moon you'll get a Michael Jackson or a Johnathan Taylor Thomas, but usually it's just yelling out of pitch. Ever been to an elementary school musical production? Close your eyes and open your ears. Without the cuteness to soften the effect it's just a bunch of screeching. Mm... I've gone off tangent.

Anyway, good song that has inspired me to watch this movie when I have the time.

54) After Today
From: A Goofy Movie
Nominated by: ZaziGuado

I looooved A Goofy Movie as a kid, and still do to this day. This is THE quintessential summer song. You know the first time you saw this movie, you had this song stuck in your head the very next day-before-summer! I absolutely adore this song and it's in my top three of the movie. Unfortunately, people nominated the two I like better than it as well, and though it hurt me to do so, I had to rank this one the lowest.

53) Darkwing Duck Theme Song
From: Darkwing Duck
Nominated by: Justin_Crossing

Darkwing Duck! I kind of just started watching DD last year, so no nostalgia boost here. It's just a pretty darn good theme song. Little short, but that's fine.

52) You've Got a Friend in Me
From: Toy Story
Nominated by: cody11533

D'aww this song fills me with so much nostalgia. It's so cheery and sweet and mushy and Randy Newman is pretty awesome.A quick glance tells me this is his highest song. Was there ever any doubt? Such a supurb intro song as a kid when you've still got dat imagination, but even moreso as an adult when you've still got fond memories of having dat imagination!

51) When You Wish Upon a Star
From: Pinocchio
Nominated by: BrettEagles

It's the Disney anthem (either this or "It's a Small World") and it plays at the beginning of most Disney films during the opening sequence- kind of like Fiona's Song and Dreamworks. Anyway, it's sweet, slow (but not boring) and iconic. It's a classic basically! It aged better than some of the other old-timey numbers imo, and Raka's ranking was like, criminally low. Btw, I tried to find the scene, but I couldn't.
