65) Friend Like Me
From: Aladdin
Nominated by: Pokewars

Now, I know this fairly low placement might offend some of you, but hear me out. Seriously, hear me out, and then hear the song out without looking at the video in the link. I love Robin Williams to death, but he really does not sing this well. The problem is he's doing way too much in an effort to be fun. He's using about 8-10 different voices/afflections/accents/dialects/what have you and it's making the entire thing suffer. This really worked for me when I was a kid because I literally couldn't tear my eyes away from the screen long enough to focus on just the music, but it does not work for me now. RW creates a lively, versatile character in the all-powerful genie of the lamp, and an extremely fun song, but own its own the song cannot hold up to the higher standard of the songs yet to appear on the list.

However... I can't ignore nostalgia. I cannot cast aside the Disney magic this song filled me with in my youth, which is why I placed it here. Fun fact: this song moved up and down the ranks at least as many times as RW used different voices in Friend Like Me before this spot felt "right".

64) Streets of Gold
From: Oliver and Company
Nominated by: StifledSeagulls

Man, I love Rita's voice. Not much else to say here.

63) Feed the Birds
From: Mary Poppins
Nominated by: Raka_Putra

Was this song always so hauntingly beautiful? Yes? Man, where have I been?

62) Go the Distance
From: Hercules
Nominated by: 20three

I went through hell to find this video. Goddamn Michael Bolton video seems to be much more popular than the movie version. Anyway, I like this song a lot, but it takes a while to get going. Since it starts slow, it doesn't hold my interest until a ways in, but once it gets me, it gets me hooked. Very nice.

61) The Incredits
From: The Incredibles
Nominated by: MycroProcessor

Why have I never heard this? Ah, it plays during the end credits? No wonder. Lolpixar. You so silly. No one wants to sit through 7 minutes of credits just to hear this. That said, for something with no lyrics to draw me in and hold me, this is quite good. Smooth and rough jazz blended together in harmony. Music to my ears- literally!

HM #7 NO FEAR!
From: The Swan Princess

I used to love this movie as a kid. Someone had to beat into my head the fact that it was not Disney, because when I was a kid I was convinced every animated film was Disney and that this was one of the better ones. Nowadays I don't think it holds up as well, and even though vocally this is far from the best song in the film, it is the most memorable, and it is my favorite.
